The ABC’s of Core Training
Everybody knows what “abs” are, and most folks spend a good deal of time working on them, but what exactly is the “core”, why is it so important and how do you work it effectively?
The “core” muscles make up all of your torso, front, back and sides, as well as your hips. These muscles are essential for maintaining proper posture, stability and spinal health. They also are an integral factor in our ability to generate and adapt to force. This 90 minute session will review the most productive exercises you should be doing, and more critically, how to execute these moves with proper form for maximum efficiency and safety.
Whether you are an athlete looking to perform at the top of your game, an individual looking to avoid possible problems down the road, or simply someone who want to exercise productively and get the most for your efforts, this class is for you! (This is a “hands on” session, so please come in attire that allows you to move comfortably.)
